Stem cell research has broad application prospects in disease treatment and damage repair, so it has become one of the rapidly developing and fiercely competitive directions in the current life science research field. In order to ensure the safety and standardization of the clinical transformation and application of stem cells, both Chinese and international stem cell research and management institutions have begun to formulate relevant management and regulatory policies. In order to correctly grasp the development trend of relevant policies for stem cell clinical trials, explore the scientific problems and management strategies faced in the process of stem cell transformation into clinical trials, promote the establishment of comprehensive and practical clinical grade stem cell evaluation standards in China, and promote the research and clinical transformation of stem cells in China Orderly development to strengthen in-depth exchanges and extensive cooperation among stem cell researchers. The Stem Cell Biology Branch of the Chinese Society for Cell Biology and the Beijing Stem Cell Bank of the Institute of Zoology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will hold the "Section" in Beijing from May 10th to 11th, 2014. The Seventh Beijing Stem Cell Forum". The forum will invite well-known domestic experts in the field of stem cell and regenerative medicine research to share the latest developments and achievements in the field of stem cell and regenerative medicine with participants, discuss the development trend of stem cell and regenerative medicine research, and the policy regulation direction of stem cell clinical application.


One of the important links in the clinical application of stem cells is the isolation of clinically available functional stem cells, but its complicated experimental procedures have restricted many laboratories from conducting research. To this end, Beijing Stem Cell Bank has organized several advanced training courses on stem cell technology. After this forum, Beijing Stem Cell Bank will hold the 25th "Stem Cell Technology Advanced Training Course" from May 12-13, 2014, focusing on two topics of clinical-level human embryonic stem cells and clinical-level human mesenchymal stem cells. The training is conducted in the form of a combination of theoretical explanation, operation demonstration, and practical operation, and strives to enable students to systematically and deeply master relevant stem cell knowledge and skills in a short time.
